Beauty Tips For Body Care
So I have recently managed to largely clear my hormonal, cystic acne (blessed Spironolactone, we don't deserve you), and only have the monthly small crop of tiny pimps. Now I'm tackling my residual PIH and PIE, and so I got the 10% lactic acid and 0.2% retinol in squalane from The Ordinary. I know I need to slowly add them (separately!) to my routine. I plan to start with the LA, maybe 2x weekly, work up to... 4x weekly? And then add the retinol after a month or two. Here's the problem: the temptation to just jump into using one each day instead of slowly easing into it is overwhelming. I'm literally having to argue with myself each night to not just burn the shit out of my face by using one daily. I used to use Ziana daily, so I think I'm deluded into thinking my skin can still take that abuse, even though it's been over a year since I used it consistently. How quickly can I reasonably introduce these products? How do I know if I'm going too far? Help me not melt my face off, y'all. I'm too weak for the fun of actives.Current routine:AM - Cera Ve hydrating cleanser, rosehip oil, Thank You Farmer SPF 50+PM - 5% BP panoxyl wash, Aczone, rosehip oil
