[misc] Don't be afraid to ask for prescriptions or a doctor's help for your skin.

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I've never known life with decent skin. I've had cc's and uneven tone and redness my entire life, and in the last few years I've constantly had mild cystic acne and scarring added to it. It was a lot of different things that contributed to not having good skin, but I thought that since I didn't have severe acne or anything major I didn't deserve to need a derm or medication. I spent so much money on things to try and figure out what my skin needed, and none of them worked. Lately I got so fed up with everything that I asked my doctor for a tretinoin prescription. It's been a week on just 0.01%, and I can see progress for the first time. My skin tone has started to even out, my sebaceous filaments are getting smaller, and although my ccs aren't gone and they look the same, I can feel them flattening. I know it's just a week in and things could change, but seeing any sort of difference is thrilling. I wish I had tried this years ago.If it's bothering you, you deserve to have a doctor take you seriously about it. Just because it's cosmetic and it's not as bad as others have it doesn't mean it's not valid and important to you.
