Beauty Tips For Body Care
I have always had problem-ish skin that is totally hormone related, but I did not anticipate it go to absolutely insane when I stopped the Nuvaring after 5 years and opted for Mirena IUD. 4 months later my face was the worst I had EVER seen it. I would wake up with 3 massive cysts on my face every morning that would last for an entire month. I was getting desperate for help.https://i.redd.it/ahjy993mp5l21.jpgI had the IUD removed and went on oral birth control pills to control the issue. It seemed to help... a little, but not for long. Cysts were back.Stopped dairy x 1 month. No change. Re added dairy.Tried keto x 1 month. No change, resumed healthy eating practices. (I already eat very balanced healthy foods)Started on spironolactone... 6 months later still having large cysts.Add minocycle x2 months. Final clearing of acne! High dose probiotics in food (sauerkraut, kombucha, fermented foods) to counteract ATBs.NOW, 6 months after minocycling, continuing of spironolactone, and oral birth control pills I can finally leave the house with no makeup.Facial products:CosRX low pH morning cleanserLUA timeless serumCerave cream diluted with a bit of water nightlyAztec clay mask with apple cider vinegar weekyBoom. This blog was a massive help to me when I was feeling horrible and disfigured.I wasnt able to find a photo of my skin during its height of problematic phase, but I did find one just before I started minocycline.DO NOT WAIT TO GET TREATMENT. Also DO NOT stay on antibiotics longer than 2 months. It can cause PERMANENT gut damage. Im an RN and I have seen a young woman come in a slew of issues after being on minocycline for acne x 2 years!!! That is malpractice in my opinion. If antibiotics, routine skin care, and other options are NOT working try something else up to and including accutane if your self esteem is really in question. I wish I would have gotten treatment so much sooner than I had. I had terrible skin for over a year because I didn't.
