[Personal] I realized the problem and am finally completely clear after nine years.

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Due to this subreddit, which I'm extremely grateful for, I want to say this is the official end of my 9-year battle with painful, cystic acne. That's almost half of my life. I looked in the mirror this morning and my face is so smooth and glowing, I can't believe it. Recently, there was one final change which I wanted to experiment and see if it was a significant cause of any breakouts I might have, and I read about it on the subreddit, along with other components of my routine.I have COMPLETELY cut out dairy. For the last two months I've switched to almondmilk, because I cannot live without cereal. I do not eat cheese, or ice cream. Since then, in the past few weeks, I've noticed no enlarged, painful blemishes, no hormonal breakouts, and no stubborn spots that take days to go away. My skin is smoother, more glowing, and overall more even-toned.My skin is definitely not perfect, and still has some icepick scars and hyperpigmentation from years of acne, but this is nothing compared to what it was. Cutting out dairy has given me results so fast, and so visible, and it might just be the thing that has been missing for all these years. I've always been an avid milk-drinker until now. It was worth a shot because if I saw no difference, I could always go back from abstaining from dairy. I can say with all confidence it's been worth it and took little time to see results. I didn't even break out this month around my period. My routine, same thing morning and night:CeraVe Foaming Cleanser for Normal/Oily SkinPixi Glow Tonic (5% glycolic acid)Aloe and Vitamin C Facial Spray for moisturizationA few times a week, I use Shea Moisture Mud Mask with Tamarind and Tea Tree Oil.As a disclaimer I'm on the birth control pill. Next to cutting out dairy and revamping my routine, I'd say that's the third major component to having my skin completely turn around.TLDR: Cutting out dairy is one of the best things that's ever happened to me for my skin. It gave me fast results and I had nothing to lose. Again, thank you to this subreddit for even existing. It's been an incredible network of support and I don't feel alone in my skincare endeavors.
