Beauty Tips For Body Care
I’ve never had acne prone skin. My breakouts never consist of more than a small zit in between my eyebrows, so my focus when caring for my skin is always hydration and an even skin tone. About two weeks ago I thought I would give the recently praised Drunk Elephant line a shot. I purchased the C-Firma serum, the vitamin C eye cream, and the protini moisturizer. The products felt nice at first (although the serum left some residual stickiness on my face) but I was convinced I was being nice to my skin! It took me about a week and a half to realize the texture of my skin had changed drastically. I had tiny bumps covering my entire face and my pores looked enlarged and dark. It wasn’t until a few days ago that I started noticing large, painful, red bumps on my cheeks and chin, and I’m talking six or seven cysts over the span of a few days. I discontinued use immediately and switched back to my Sunday Riley routine. Most of the bumps have finally come to a head and popped, but my face looks seriously distraught and I’m worried these sores are going to scar. Just wanted to share my story on here because I don’t see a lot of negative reviews on the stuff, and it seems as though every Sephora in the nation is practically shoving this stuff in our baskets.
