Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hi!I have dry, dehydrated skin, with a small amount of active acne, redness and quite a lot of acne scarring (PIE / PIH - not ice pick scars). Yesterday I purchased Revolution Skin Blemish and Pore Refining Serum 10% Niacinamide + 1% Zinc and also Mad Hippie Vitamin C Serum (photo of the 2 products is here for reference), to help with my uneven skin tone and acne scarring. Please would you be able to advise how I could incorporate them into my existing routine? Thank youRevolution Beauty website says "Do not use with topically applied vitamin C. Vitamin C products should be applied to the skin at an alternate time." -- The two products together may cause a reaction, so just to be on the safe side I'll use vitamin C one day, and Niacinamide/Zinc the next day. Is the most logical place for them after the glycolic toner? Thank you.Current routine (photo of my products is here for ease of reference) : CLEANSER -- Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser AND The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter to remove makeupTONER -- Lacura Glycolic Daily Cleansing Pads (Nip + Fab dupe) OR Lacura Glycolic Glow Exfoliating Tonic (Pixi dupe) --- I alternate between these each day OR Dr. Andrew Weil Origins Mega-Mushroom Treatment Lotion if my skin is feeling too sensitive to use glycolic acidSERUM -- Superdrug Simply Pure Hydrating Serum MOISTURISER -- Cerave in the tubSUNCREAM -- The Body Shop Vitamin E Day Lotion SPF30OCCASIONALLY -- Superdrug Calm Skin De-Stress Refreshing Facial Spritz OR Dr Organic Aloe Vera Gel from Holland & Barrett (only use these after moisturiser when I feel my skin needs extra moisture)SPOT TREATMENT -- Origins Out of Trouble 10 Minute Mask to Rescue Problem Skin OR Epiduo gelEYE CREAM -- Superdrug Naturally Radiant Brightening Eye creamConstructive criticism is welcome on my routine, and I am happy to answer any questions about the products.
