[Personal] Dear past self, your cleanser isn't makeup remover and you should probably stop eating dairy

I finally turned a major corner in my skincare journey after years of breakouts with two(kinda obvious) changes. I wish someone pointed these things out to me so I hope it helps other people too! :)I knew I was lactose intolerant but kept eating ice cream and cheese because the stomach issues were tolerable. I started to notice a pattern of me getting breakouts whenever I ate dairy and immediately went cold turkey. As much as I love cheese, the acne is not worth it. I saw a major change in my skin(yay!) but was still having issues.A few months later, I was frustrated by the state of my skin and realized that my cleanser probably wasn't taking off all of my makeup(shocking!!). I started using Simple Micellar Water and WOW my skin finally chilled out.I still get occasional breakouts from stress, hormones and dairy(I'm not perfect haha) but my skin is so much happier and is finally healing.
