Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hey! So... in the past I tried shaving my face with one of those eyebrow razors but I always ended up breaking out afterwards. Even though it didn’t work the first time I kept trying because I’m a stubborn idiot. I just kept trying until I finally gave up. A few weeks ago I flew back from Spain to the US (northeast). I went from dry heat to humid as hell heat. Out of no where I got a billion dots on my forehead and temples (where I shaved with the eyebrow razor). I would just shave the rest of my beard like normal. I tried absolutely everything to remove the little bumps. I tried physical, salicylic, glycolic, lactic, etc. I even got a facial and chemical peel (glycolic). I exfoliated a lot and even used retinol (my skin can take it). I even exfoliated in my sleep. Kidding. So anyway after looking through this sub I discovered Nizoral (Ketoconazole 1%). This helped remove 60% of the bumps. Buy this at Target because it’s cheaper than CVS and Walgreens. I got the 7 fluid ounces for $14 while CVS was selling 4 fluid ounces for $16. Girl bye. This is what I did:I’d put the shampoo on my palm and put the shampoo on my dry/cleansed face. Then after 10 mins I wet my fingertips and massaged it in for a minute or two. Then I would leave it for 5 mins. Then I would wet my hands and remove it like a cleanser. I removed the rest with a towel.I didn’t find it that drying because my skin is EXTREMELY oily.I just went to the pharmacy and bought Ketoconazole 2%. It was a bit more expensive but it comes in a cream version. It’s a very light cream. This way I can leave it on overnight. I do the rest of my routine everywhere else besides my forehead.TIP: Wash your sheets/pillowcases. Also make sure your products are FA safe.Love you guys! Bye!
