[Review] Battle of the lip balms!

Beauty Tips For Body Care
https://imgur.com/a/AHOAeHUFarmacy Lip Bloom -- These are really subtle smelling, soft, almost glossy lip balms. I love them! Farmacy had their 3-set on sale for $24, so I picked it up and have been super happy with them. 5/5Raw Sugar Lip Scrub (mango) -- Not really a balm, but great at getting off lip flakies and prepping for balm application :) 5/5Bite Agave Lip Mask -- I got this in a little set at Marshall's for like $8. It's a nice lip sleeping mask for sure, but I do find it a bit sticky. I think this is the old formula. 3/5Tarte Quench Lip Rescue Balm (nude) -- I got this as a Sephora points mini. The formula is SUPER soft and is sort of hard not to mush into the side of the container. Not sure if the fullsize version is any better in terms of packaging. I do like the actual lip balm though and I would considering buying it in the future. 4/5Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment SPF15 (nude & rose) -- I would NOT suggest the "shimmer" nude version. The finish is not pleasing (cakey?) and it has taken me forever to get through it. I really like the satin rose version though (which I got as a Sephora points item); it's smooth and kind of glossy. I think these are overpriced in general though. So shimmer nude = 2/5, satin rose = 4/5Big Cloud Skymaster Lip Balm SPF15 (mint) -- I got this with my Dollar Shave Club order. I don't like it. I feel like I have to rub this AGGRESSIVELY over my lips to actually get a good layer of product. And oh boy, does it taste like sunscreen. I keep it in my purse in case of an "emergency." 1/5Fresh Sugar Hydrating Lip Balm (lemon) -- I love this waaay more than their SPF ones. Probably my favorite balm of all time really. It's super hydrating and long lasting, and it tastes SO GOOD. I want all the flavors. It's also cheaper than their tube balm. 5/5Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask (berry) -- I got this as a Sephora points item. It has lasted me months and I'm only halfway through it. It's a really nice lip mask imo, and it smells/tastes good. Not sure I would buy the fullsize version though. I find the Fresh hydrating balm works just as well, or even plain ol' Vaseline. 4/5Jack Black Lip Balm SPF25 (mint & shea butter) -- This is a great SPF lip product! It doesn't tastes like sunscreen, is super affordable, and comes in lots of different flavors. It goes on nice. I will definitely always have one of these on hand for the daytime. 5/5Maybelline Baby Lips (my pink) -- I bought this because I heard it was a dupe for Dior Lip Glow (it's not). I spent like $2 on amazon for this and they sent me 2 tubes by accident lol. It is still a nice product and gives me a nice subtle pink color. Tastes like vanilla. 3/5Milk Kush Lip Balm (cannatonic) -- I liked this at first, but honestly... it's not great. I'm really just a sucker for Milk's packaging. Tastes kinda weird... like minty weed? Not terrible though. But the product itself does not last long on the lips and is not especially hydrating. 3/5Korres Lip Butter (wild rose) -- I actually don't think they make this anymore. I've had it in my purse for.ev.er. I actually really like it but I don't find myself reaching for it much due to the color (quite vibrant). Feels really nice though. Tastes like buttery vanilla. 4/5Bee Folks Lip Balm (tropical) -- Local honey seller. I always have a tube of this somewhere. Just a great beeswax balm that glides on and tastes great. And I get to support a local business! 5/5Jouer Lip Enhancer Balm -- Not pictured because I literally threw this across the room and into the trash can (free mini) after the first application. I just want to express my utter disgust with this product. If you enjoy someone spraying floral perfume directly into your orifices, please buy this. 0/5
