[Review] My small contribution to sunscreen reviews

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hello all! My skin type is: combination + dehydrated + sensitive (redness and itchiness). I am a fair caucasian Canadian girl. I sometimes have dry skin patches that are flaking on face due to mild eczema, also have mild rosacea. No acne or breakouts. No big deal, I am happy anyway. I love trying new sunscreen, it is one of the product that you can easily tell if you like it or not, and why not. Here we go:Bioré UV Watery Gel SPF 50+ PA ++++ JAPAN Mineral sunscreen. I have read somewhere that this watery gel offers less protection than a cream (don't know if this is true). Natural finish. I love the hydrating non-greasy feeling on the skin. No white cast. It glides on super well and gets absorbed really fast. My skin reacted well to it every time I have been wearing it. I might keep this one more for winter because I feel it is so thin (although it is just a feeling). The alcohol never hurt my skin or made is more dry. It contains fragrance as last ingredient, but I don't really smell it and it never irritated me. I bought it on Yesstyle and was happy with price and shipping. WRP 4/5Dear Klair's Soft Airy UV Essence SPF 50+ PA ++++ KOREA Mineral Sunscreen. No greasiness, no white cast. Pretty matte. Absorbs super well and feels really elegant. Kind of smell like paint primer which I don't really like, contains orange and flower oil as fragrance. As the Biore, I like the broad spectrum. Packaging is nice (easy to squeeze tube) and it fits well on the side of a bag. Already bought my replacement. HG 5/5Etude House Sunprise Must Daily SPF 50+ PA +++ KOREA Mineral sunscreen. No white cast, but leaves a bit of a greasy wet feeling on the skin. If you ask me? I like it. If you are oily or combination, maybe don't choose this one. The fragrance reminds me of american sunscreen. Bought on Yesstyle. Spectrum is a little less, but still, I WRP. 4/5Josie Maran Argan Daily Moisturizer SPF 47 (how? why?) PA?? USA Mineral sunscreen. I am into makeup and I bought this upon a recommandation of Jamie Paige on YouTube, she would recommend it as a primer. Feels very greasy and as a white cast. Greasiness goes away after a while. Under makeup, it is fine. As fragrance and smell reminds me of blueberry muffin or blueberry oatmeal. Although it is an ok sunscreen, it slightly irritates my sensitive skin. I will use it up because it isn't bad, but WNRP. Bought at Sephora. 2/5Avène Mineral Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 50+ PA?? Water Resistant 80 minutes France Mineral Sunscreen. Bought this before a trip to Morocco so my boyfriend could have a body sunscreen that wouldn't hurt the ocean. Turns out it is bad. BAD. Yes, it did protect us at the beach, it is water resistant, no lie there. We couldn't even take it off in the shower hours after! It also left the most intense white-pink cast on our skin (+ greasy), it made us look so weird. I was happy that I had it for the trip and the beach, but WNRP. Don't buy this. Bought in a Canadian drugstore. 1/5Vichy Idéal Soleil Ultra-Fluid Tinted Lotion SPF 60 UVA+UVB France Mineral sunscreen. Not greasy. What does UVA+UVB means exactly? We don't know. I like that it is slightly tinted. A bit dark for me in the winter, but as a cool grey undertone that blends well into the skin for a minimal cover. Doesn't smell much. Bought in a Canadian drugstore. Not my favorite and a bit pricier, but if I had to buy local and not order online, I WRP. 4/5La Roche-Posay Tinted Ultra-Fluid Lotion Sensitive Skin SPF 50 UVA+UVB France Mineral sunscreen. Not greasy. Color is off, guys. Way too orange and blends weirdly. I have used it for a long while before discovering how Asia is a sunscreen savior, but I don't use it anymore. No bad smell, no irritation. If the color fits you, pretty standard. Again, pricier than Asian sunscreen, WNRP. Bought in Canadian drugstore. 3/5Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch SPF 60 with Helioplex UVA/UVB USA NOT a mineral sunscreen. Irritates, leaves white cast, feels greasy. Don't buy this. It hurts our oceans. WNRP. 1/5UncompliKated SPF 50 Soft Focus Makeup Setting Spray USA NOT a mineral sunscreen. I use this over makeup throughout the day. Leaves skin matte, does not affect makeup, no weird cast or greasiness. Smells like gin. Container is weirdly made and the spray leaves drop of sunscreen that you have to be careful with when putting in back into bag. I like it ok, it does its job. I could maybe find a better over makeup sunscreen spray. WNRP. 3/5
