[Acne] Do the different ways that pimples pop indicate how they should be treated?

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I had a horrible habit of popping pimples for a good few years (shockingly, it never actually impacted my skin that much). I've gotten very familiar with how pimples pop, and I could sort them into several fairly distinct categories based off of how they behave (I can usually identify how I would expect them to pop before doing so as well). This seems to admit a classification of pimples that's more fine-grained than the normal types of acne listed online. My question is, is there any use to this classification? For example, are pimples that require minimal pressure to pop them more receptive to certain treatments than "harder" ones? I could go into the full classification, but that seems a little too graphic.
