Beauty Tips For Body Care
There are a lot of crucial basic steps and bits of skincare that go unmentioned or not talked about as they are assumed to be known or common sense. I’m still sort of a newbie and there is actually A LOT more that goes into a good, healthy routine besides finding the right products and researching the ingredients. I think this might help other newbies out there and would serve as a good reminder to everyone else! Simple unnoticed mistakes can cancel all the hard work (and hard earned money spent) we put into our skin!Please comment and add more basic tips, steps, and reminders that I forget to mention or maybe might not have even learned yet! :)• Wash your hands before touching your face.• Brush your teeth, floss, take out/put in your contacts, and/or do any other hygiene maintenance BEFORE starting your skincare routine.• Clean your product bottles and jars regularly to keep away any possible dirt or bacteria from transferring to your hands during application.• Change your pillowcases frequently! Every week at the least. (Use silk if possible.)• Don’t neglect your neck, it needs love too!• Always patch test new products and check if there could be any reactions or contradictions in your current routine.• Try not to push, pull, or tighten your skin while cleaning or applying products.• Be gentle. Use circular motions when applying serums and creams and start in the middle and glide towards the outside of your face.• Wash your bath towels and washcloths regularly. Also, any headbands or hats you might wear often too.• Try to clean up your diet and fuel your body with the nutrients your skin needs to heal and glow.I know there’s a ton more. Hopefully this will be informative to some and can spark some helpful conversation away from the focus of products.
