Beauty Tips For Body Care
Original postupdate:The pH is 4But wait, there's more!As soon as I opened the bottle, a strong, strong smell of lavender hit my poor nostrils. I don't remember anything about lavender in the ingredients, and I've read through that ingredients list plenty of times during yesterday's discussion. So I look at the back of the bottle.....and surprise surprise! Lavendula angustifolia hydrosol is the first freakin ingredient! So at this point I feel like a crazy person, because I specifically remember Aloe Leaf Juice being the first ingredient. Well...it is. On the ingredient list on the website. Right above a handy disclaimer that I conveniently missed stating that "Due to long lead times for production of our packaging, the ingredients listing on the package may not reflect all current ingredients..." and to refer to their website for the correct ingredient list 🤔 Except I'd bet my first born that there's absolutely no way lavender anything is that far down in the ingredients of this product. It smells a lot like my first college roomie who was a little way too much into essential oils and smelled like she bathed in lavender essential oil in a futile attempt to cover the smell of weed and black n milds. Good times.Lastly, my bottle says it is made in China....which while wasn't a part of my concerns, is pretty surprising. After further research, I saw a review on Amazon saying that the one they've gotten on Amazon say "Made in China" while the one they've gotten from MTB website said "Made in USA"....Except, I got mine directly from their website....dafuq?So now I have no toner, I've wasted too much of my life on this quest and I'm thoroughly annoyed. I also can't believe how this product has 4.8 stars on the website....unless every customer has lost their olfactory senses in some tragic accident.
