Beauty Tips For Body Care
I had been a long time user of their SPF 15 oil control, mattifying moisturizer and was sad to see it had been discontinued for a reformulated product. The new one is an SPF 45, so I figured that was at least a win, especially if it worked as well as the original.Gave it a try for a week and a half before admitting to myself that while the higher SPF was great, the products weren’t even comparable and the new formula left me extra oily as the day went on. I never wore it under makeup, but I can only imagine what the separation would have looked like in my t-zone. Not to mention it had moved from a mineral sunscreen to a chemical sunscreen, which was a bummer. So, given that reviews might help another customer, I posted honest descriptions on Ulta (where I would typically make my Murad purchases) and on Murad’s website, where I made this particular purchase since it hadn’t been available at Ulta yet when I needed to order it. I had a feeling that Murad’s website might be a problem since all of the existing reviews for this product (4.9/5, btw) were all of those super sparse, super generic reviews for the most part, giving me feelings of Sunday Riley all over again. But I do my part and post my 1 star review and make sure to confirm through their email that they sent me that it was in fact me who posted that review. Then, go figure, when I go back this morning there’s nothing there and they’re still reporting no 1 star reviews given (review was posted on 8/14 and there’s another on there from the same day). Here I was hoping that Murad was a brand that was established enough that they wouldn’t give into this social media frenzy BS, but here we are. I’m just one person, but I’ll be taking my money elsewhere.
