[Review] Oral Vitamin B3/Niacinamide for Hormonal Acne

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I recently bought some Niacinamide pills to try to help with my hormonal acne. I had read in this sub it’s a game changer. The TL;DR it is! No acne for two months now!!! I normally get one or two hormonal pimples and haven’t had even an inkling of one for months!Long story: I have sensitive skin and have been suffering from adult acne since my mid-20s. I was pimple free as a teen. After finding this sub I’ve successfully treated my short lived breakouts but couldn’t ever seem to get the pimples that remain under the skin and last 3-4 months each under control. After YEARS of not knowing what was causing these (I was thinking they were an allergic reaction), I finally figured out they were likely hormonal. I had always heard Niacinamide was good for these kinds of pimples, but after buying a vial of it and still breaking out I wasn’t sure if it had caused an allergic reaction to make more of these long term pimples or not. I didn’t want to risk it so I stopped use.Recently I read a comment in here that said oral Niacinamide is a life saver for these kinds of pimples. I figured a non-topical solution was worth it. I’d be less likely to have a reaction.I bought some and they arrived during my sore boob pre-period week. I started taking one daily immediately and was shocked that I didn’t get a pimple. Especially considering the close timing! To be sure, I waited another month before reporting the results. And here I am, 45 days later, with 0 pimples this entire time. I think it may have even helped me get through my “lazy” skin care days where I’d normally pay a heavy price for skipping washing my face.I HIGHLY recommended everyone give this a try who gets these stubborn, long lived, pimples. Total life saver!AM Routine:Biore Aqua Rich Watery Essence Sunscreen (no, I don’t wash my face in the AM)1 pill - Nature’s Way NiacinamidePM Routine:CeraVe Foaming Facial CleanserCosRx White Power Liquid (AHA)*AcneFree sensitive skin BP lotion (step 3 from the kit, I buy the kit and toss everything but the final step)*CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion (blue pump bottle, intended for hand lotion)*twice a week I replace the AHA and BP step with SkinMedica 0.5% retinol
