Beauty Tips For Body Care
https://imgur.com/gallery/jo6a4gLThese scars are about 6 years old. I’ve been searching for ways to get rid of them for a long time and tried the silicone creams and patches none of them worked. I finally decided to try cortisone shots and I am so glad I did!I was really nervous that getting these injections were going to be super painful but they actually did not hurt me at all! After getting the injections your scar does puff up and bleed and bit and it will be like that for 2 weeks but then you’ll see them start to go down. As you can see from the first picture there is a significant decrease in puffiness. So far I have only gotten 3 treatments done. I took a break from the treatments because as you can see it caused discoloration in my arm and I was scared this would be permanent but as you can see the color retuned. I plan on getting the shots again when it gets colder because right now I don’t want my arms to look bloody while I’m wearing short sleeves. If you have self harm scars I would recommend this. My insurance actually paid for it in full I was nervous it would be really expensive. I did notice skin thinning around where the shots were injected as well. I had a vein that seemed really close to the skin however I think my skin has thickened up during this break as well. So I would recommend taking breaks. However I’m really excited to get back into the injections and see how flat and thin I can get these scars. They are almost flat now and I know they aren’t going to go away completely however once they are flat I plan on getting a tattoo over them!
