[Acne] hormonal acne, Retin-A fail

Beauty Tips For Body Care
About a month ago I posted about my hopeless Retin-A journey and routine. I previously was taking Retin-A and Seysara for two months. I applied Retin-A every other night and took Seysara orally every day with a light routine of cetaphil gentle skin cleanser and cetaphil daily moisturizer. I thought I was going through a purge for the past two months since my face was so red and white heads kept popping up every day. There was no end in sight but I tried to keep an open mind.I see my dermatologist monthly so that he can keep track of my progress, after month 2 he was by far unsatisfied. Retin-A was irritating my skin and cetaphil was blocking my pores. WELL IM HERE TO TELL YOU I HAVE BROKEN OUT OF ACNE PRISON. My dermatology prescribed me to a new regiment. Here it is below.AM - splash of water or cleanse with revision papaya enzyme cleanser (if my face is feeling particularly dirty), Mario Badescu facial spray with aloe, cucumber, and green tea, Top off my morning with revision multi-protection broad-spectrum spf 50Mid day - physicians 60 billion probiotic pill and doxycycline 40mg (prescribed by dermatologist)PM - Neutrogena makeup remover cleansing towelettes, revision papaya enzyme cleanser, Mario badescu facial spray with aloe, cucumber, and green tea, alternate my nights with either clindamycin phosphate gel 1% (prescription) or epidufote adapalene and benzoyl peroxide (given two sample tubes from dermatologist)My face feels amazing and looks 1000% better. Knock on wood it stays this way. I like a minimal facial routine and this works for me. Now I just have to tackle the left over scarring from retin-a!
