Skin purge with Cerave SA Cream?I started using Cerave SA cream Monday. I bought it to fix some forehead texture and dry skin flakes :/ basically my T zone gets flakey if I don’t do anything.I have dry skin and rarely have acne problems. I have a routine that works for me so my face doesn’t get angry.That being said I still have flakes that show up under makeup. My forehead also gets those little bumps.I also have two white bumps that I swear aren’t pimples because they’ve existed for years and won’t pop. Ones by my nose and the other between my cheek bone and eye. One finally disappeared after exfoliating and using moisture surge but a few months later a new one took its place in the same general area just a bit further up. They are painful if I try to pop them. Whatever they are.Anyways! I’ve been using Cerave SA cream for just 2 nights now. Yesterday and today I’ve had pimples and oily skin only in the areas I applied it.Like ... it feels gross. It feels like I haven’t washed my face in 4 days level greasy. To go from dry skin to that kind of grease is so bizarre to me.I don’t know if it’s good or bad. I mean... maybe those tiny bumps on my forehead were actually pimples this whole time that never emerged. Maybe the cream is making them fester and erupt. I mean... they are RIPE. They pop so easily.I’ve heard of skin purging... is that what this could be?I should also note that I’ve skipped my normal moisture surge routine because I wanted to make sure nothing interfered with the SA cream.
