[Anti-Aging] Mixed messages about the long term safety of Retinols?

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Anyone else thinking about trying Retinols but hearing mixed messages about their long term safety? There seems to be great evidence pointing to their efficacy, not to mention the personal results people are posting on this subreddit!Yet I spoke to a dermal therapist yesterday who warned me off using Retinols too early in life, he said the effects of forcing your skin cells to divide and renew at an accelerated rate is unknown. Our skin cells only have about 50 divisions built-in, what happens to our skin if we run out? There’s also a doc with similar questions featured in this article. link to article hereThis is some of the only anti-retinol info I could find. Not to get tooooo anti-vaxxerish but could Big Pharma have a stake in making sure this kind of discussion stays out of the media and away from public attention?Curious to see if any of you science/medical types have some answers that could put my worries to rest 😂
