Hey there SCA, it's been awhile since I've been in, but I'm back with my same old CC garbage.So basically, I have several white bumps — mostly on my chin, though i've recently spotted one a little bit above my lip — that will not go away. Sometimes, they're not really a big deal, but more often, they're very solid, raised, and noticeable. I asked SCA about something similar awhile ago, and was told that those are closed comedones.These may be a different thing, but they feel similar, and are in the same location. I can post photos later — my brain decided to have a meltdown over this while I'm at work. Convenient.Here's a list of things I've tried in the past 5 months to get rid of these:Differin (worked last time, didn't affect these at all this time around.)TO Granactive Retinoid 2% emulsion. (same as above.)TO AHA + BHA mask, once a week. (same as above.)Curology: niacinamide, clindamycin, azelaic acid. Works great for old scarring, but hasn't budged these CCs. They're refusing to change my formula to include tret (or literally anything stronger than my current formula) so that's A+.Vitamin C Serum (idk which one this is offhand, it doesn't seem to do much beyond feeling nice tbh)Rosehip seed oil (also good for scarring, not effecting much else.)Physical exfoliation of many kinds! Scrub/cleanser combos, a straight-up salt scrub, a "brightening peeling exfoliator", washing with a spin brush, washing with those little silicone bristle... pad... things?, Microneedle rolling.Using Nizoral as a face mask, which did nothing but prompt my dad to pick on me for dandruff I don't have. Love that.It's been a minute since I broke out the Stridex red box, but I feel like I also remember that not working much either? It's also weirdly out of stock everywhere around me rn. I could order it online I guess, it just feels silly.I'm just... out of ideas beyond stabbing and squeezing them to hell and back, and just dealing with the scarring later. And even then, they still might come back. Any thoughts?
