Beauty Tips For Body Care
Vitamin B5, also known as pantothenic acid has been shown to reduce acne even for those who have severe cystic acne. I was appalled at how Ive never heard of this before and was skeptical of its touted successes. To give a small summary of what pantothenic acid does:"Pantothenic acid is a major component of Co Enzyme A. CoA is used at the cellular level for fatty acid oxidation and in many other biochemical reactions in the cell. Taking additional B5 increases the amount of Coenzyme A available for use in the cell. The more Co-Enzyme A, the more fatty acids can be metabolized, which means they are oxidized or burned up as energy production."And "It is well known that the Beta Oxidation of Fatty Acids depends on CoA. If there is a deficiency of Acetyl CoA in the body, oxidation of fatty acids will slow down, and the skin becomes oily resulting in acne. Increasing the amount of Acetyl CoA available speeds up the metabolism of fatty acids which are then used for energy production. Taking the vitamin B5, pantothenic acid is the easiest way to increase acetyl Co A and increase rate of fatty acid metabolism."Source: http://www.drdach.com/site/mobile?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.drdach.com%2FAcne_B5.html#2702A study was conducted on this, and has shown proof of it working. Here it is: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4065280/What I say: I am currently experimenting with myself to see if it works and am giving myself a month or two to see results. Because acne is caused primarily by sebum and anything relating to it, it only seems logical for us to target it. I hope this helps anyone. Its impressive the number of people that have expressed how grateful they are for this and I hope that in a way im paying it forward.
