[Routine Help] Is there a downside to using the Oil Cleansing Method?

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Most of the time when I've read about people using the OCM, it's to cleanse makeup. I don't use makeup (I'm a guy if that matters) but I'm still willing to use it. Basically, are there routines that OCM added in is too much, doesn't help, or even harms the routine? For reference, my routine is:AM: Petal Fresh Aloe & Peppermint Facial Cleanser --> (shaving routine if necessary) --> Vitamin C in cheeks and under eyes --> Goji Peptide Perfecting Cream --> SunscreenPM: Petal Fresh Aloe & Apricot --> (recently added) aHa --> Vivo retinol night creamShaving Routine: Homemade shave oil --> Cremo Shave Cream --> Nivea Sensitive Post-Shave BalmaHa: La Roche-Posay Effaclar Medicated Gel Acne Face WashI'm also planning on adding La Roche-Posay Effaclar Medicated Gel Acne Face Wash in my routine somewhere (likely in the morning) as my aHa. If I were to include the OCM (likely using Jojoba oil), where in my routine would I add it?Since we're on the topic, I've also seen from a lot of comments that Micellar Water is mainly used to remove makeup. Is there a downside to using that? Does Micellar Water belong in my routine at all? My skin type is somewhere around Normal/Combination (I'm not the best at diagnosing, but it doesn't seem dry on the face and certainly not too oily). I don't necessarily plan on adding either OCM or Micellar to my routine, but if I do decide to change it in the future, I'd like to know the upsides and downsides. Thanks in advance!
