Beauty Tips For Body Care
I used to pick at my face a lot. I'd sit on my bathroom sink, lean in as close as possible to the mirror, and just start scrutinizing/picking until I was even more miserable. One day, I was talking to a colleague who I noticed had an unsettling habit of getting way too close to my face when we spoke. It seems like a no-brainer, but she was the one to make me realize "Huh. Normal people don't get that close to my face."With that in mind, I came up with this very simple exercise that has helped me greatly:Facing the mirror, I put my hand on it, knuckles lightly against it, palm facing my face. I then use my hand to represent the face of a person talking to me. Then, I back up until it's at a realistic distance away, and then I remove my hand. And then I look at my face. This is how (most) people see you. They don't see the tiny black dots on your nose, or the pores that seem so large to you. They see your whole face, your hair, your shoulders.I just wanted to share in case this helps anyone else. Very, very basic exercise, but I honestly do it all the time. It really helps me to chill out over miniscule flaws that no one but me sees, and I've been a lot nicer to my face since I started doing it.
