Beauty Tips For Body Care
I've seen a bunch of these lately and since sebaceous filaments are my #1 problem I decided to give it a go. I had tried the "grit method" ages ago and didn't notice a difference over just using a clay mask. Pictures (before on top, after on bottom):Forehead: https://imgur.com/a/bU2Zj1CCheek: https://imgur.com/a/nEn4ZWIChin: https://imgur.com/a/ZDfXmPLNose: https://imgur.com/a/oIqLCBmProcess:1. Applied Cosrx Two in One Poreless Power Liquid. Let sit for 15 minutes2. Applied generic Walgreens brand clarifying clay mask. Let sit for 20 minutes3. Rinsed mask off with warm water4. Applied Hanskin pore cleansing oil. Let sit for 20 minutes5. Massaged face for 5 minutes6. Rinsed and washed with Cosrx Low pH Good Morning Gel CleanserTakeaway:I didn't have any "grit". My pores are cleaner (more than the pictures show). However, I don't think they're noticeably more clearer than if I had simply used the clay mask alone. I don't think this is worth all the time and effort. Especially since they are sebaceous filaments and will fill right back up again. I think doing a clay mask 3x per week or so in addition to a targeted routine is going to yield the same results. Maybe if you have an event or something and you want clearer pores TODAY this may be worth it. But as a regular part of a routine? I wouldn't recommend. Especially if you have dry/dehydrated/sensitive skin. I will for sure be doing extra hydrating sheet masks over the next couple days. However, as always, YMMV.
