[Skin Concerns] My 1.5 y.o daughter got a bad cut that required one and outter stitches. How can I minimize the scarring?

Hi guys,My daughter had a pretty bad fall that cut her under her right eye, had to go to the ER and they did a light anesthesia on her and had to sew up her cut. It's been over a week and her bandages just fell off that she got at the ER. What should we be doing to minimize scarring? Obviously her face is important and we want to make it the least noticeable it can be.The good news is we did wait for a Plastic Surgeon to come in to do the stitching in the ER, and I think that was the best decision we could have made.
