Beauty Tips For Body Care
Lapothicell Spot Patches.I have used spot dots religiously for about 6 years now since a sample I was sent peaked my interest. I have tried dozens of different brands since, non-medicated hydrocolloid and clear medicated patches, and for hydrocolloids.. these are the thinnest, most invisible, best adhering ones I have tried. These have paper thin edges, sit very flush on the skin and I can barely feel it when running my finger over the patch. Normally the edges come up a bit when I wash my face, but these stayed entirely in place. Hydrocolloid patches, just like hydrocolloid bandages for wounds, work best on broken skin (popped pimple) if you leave them as long as you can.. a moist, protected healing environment where a scab is prevented from forming is the best defense against scarring, so the fact that they stay completely put after washing is amazing.I didn't really look at the price when I picked them up at H Mart, so I was a bit excited when I saw at the register that they rang up for $5.99, as I expected them to be atleast $8-10. My favorites are normally the Dr. Belmeur Spot Patch Kit and the Peach and Lily Patches ($5.99) that I pick up from CVS in a pinch. I highly recommend the Dr. Belmeur also, it comes with 80 (40 medicated, 40 non-medicated) for $10.99. I do try more expensive ones from time to time but since I go through quite a bit of them, I try to find the best performing patches around $6 per 30 or 40 patches.. most in that price range do the job. These will definitely be my new go-to patches, especially because they are so thin that my husband could not even find the one I had placed on my face when asked.Unfortunately they don't seem to be available online but if you live near a Koreatown as I do here in Georgia, I highly recommend trying to find them in a Missy, H Mart, Great Wall or other import store with skincare counters to give them a shot.
