[Skin Concerns] How to tell if it's oily skin or over exfoliation?

Hi all!I think it's just oily skin, as it's only on my forehead and only when I wake up, but I was curious if anyone has any insight on over exfoliation. If you stopped exfoliating, how long did it take you to figure out if it was/wasn't the case? How long did it take after stopping for your skin to go back to normal oil production if you did happen to be over exfoliating?Thank you!
