Hi skincare addicts... I was recently in the ICU for corona virus and put on a ventilator for 7 days. Before corona virus I had no acne anywhere except the occasional whiteheads.Skipping all the details of this experience for another time.... Ever since I woke up from the induced coma from the ventilator, my forehead had developed a ton of little acne bumps.They are now moving to the side of my left cheek and barely any on my right.Since I got discharged from the hospital my acne has been getting worse even though I went back to the same routine as before - eating healthy, drinking water, and trying to exercise (my lungs are a bit screwed up at the moment).My stress levels and sleep levels are fine.I’ve been trying everything from AHA, BHA, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, clay masks, non comedogenic OC face wash but nothing is working (same products I used before corona virus).I’m also aware of touching my cell phone to the face, pillow sheet changes, etc.I’m starting to think corona virus impacted other organs besides my lungs like kidneys and liver that may be related to acne? I’ve also had to go to the bathroom (#2) a lot more and very gassy ever since I got out of the hospital which makes me believe there are gut issues to go along with all of it?Sorry I know there was a lot packed in there but really struggling on figuring out how to get rid of all these little bumps and what’s causing them, specifically one side of my face.Extra info: 28 years old, male, Asian
