Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hey all!I was looking through and organizing my Amazon Lists for fun like the lunatic that I am the other day. Not only did I realize that Amazon is a danger to my health, but I realized that I've found some pretty cool things over the years and i thought i would share. So I've curated a list of all my favorite items from Amazon, and elsewhere!Like the title says, most of these items are not necessary by any means. They have all, however, been pretty useful. I have tried some gimmicky duds, and those will not be mentioned here.Nexcare Acne Cover Patches: I've only tried a few pimple patches, and none of them worked. I have now repurchased these 3 times. I cannot live without these, i have to have some on hand at all times. I don't know what kind of sorcery is in these, and frankly i do not care. They're amazing.Reusable Cotton Rounds: In an effort to make better environmental choices; I decided to give these a try. 10/10 would recommend. They're a great size, they're easy to wash, and the pack comes with a fair amount. I will say, for me personally i'm probably going to order a second set just to have a few extras.Reusable Makeup Removing/ Cleansing Cloths: Same as above. Trying to stray from makeup wipes. I am not as "in love" with these as i am the rounds. I have more use for the rounds in general. BUT to be fair, i purchased these in March and i haven't worn much makeup since bc quarantine. I do however use them to clean off masks and they're great, and they worked well both times i did wear makeup.Facial Steamer: This little guy packs a punch. Highly unnecessary but a great fun item!Facial Ice Roller: Again, HIGHLY unnecessary. Not your average face roller. I love this thing for many reasons though. The ice feels amazing, it helps with puffy eyes, and it's been great when i have headaches.Spinning Storage Organizer: This is the best way i've found to store my everyday skincare products. It looks pretty, its versatile, and holds a lot without being an eyesore on my counter.Travel Containers: These are every over-packer's dream. I don't like hauling my skincare around when i travel, it takes up too much space and weight. I use containers like these to dispense the amount ill be using on a trip, to make room for other stuff!LED Light Therapy Mask: Okay, so i don't know how much this is actually improving my skin long term, simply because i am not consistent with using it. However, when i use it, i enjoy the results i see with the anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory settings. I don't know if it's a placebo effect but I feel like i see enough that i continue to reach for it. Knowing myself, if i felt like it did nothing, i would have tossed it out honestly, especially that it's a bulkier item, and is kind of an ordeal to use.I didn't attach a link to this one because it's one of those fad gimmicky looking products, and i didn't want it to appear ad-ish. But i can link the exact one i got and others i found online in the comments if anyone wants to know.Kiwi Seed Booster: TLDR; I've discontinued use of these twice to see if i notice a difference without them, and i did. How it's helped my skin personally: texture, hydration, and redness. When these came out, i was skeptical of course. I've fallen for the biotin hype years, that sadly did nothing for me. Fast forward to now, i get laser hair removal so i absolutely did not want to mess with anything that will promote hair growth. So naturally these were intriguing to me since they are targeted for skin health. I gave them a try for 3 months i noticed enough of a difference to justify the money. I decided to discontinue use on two separate occasions to see if there would be a noticeable difference, and there was. YMMV please please please consult your doctor before taking anything, i am not a physician. Just sharing my experience.
