[Misc] What skin care tip did you hear that has stuck with you ever since?

I’ll go first: a decade ago (I was 17) a counter lady at Nordstrom’s was helping me pick out some items and mentioned moisturizing. I said I did it and she praised me saying it was the most essential step and preserving youthful skin, but she followed it with “Just be sure to moisturize right next to/up on your ears —“ she pointed to where your tragus is “— and on your neck. I see so many women in here who look 40 in the face but 70 right next to their ears and on their neck.” Ever since then I’ve taken special care to massage moisturizer up next to my ears and I always coat my neck in every product I use.What are yours and where did you hear them?
