Beauty Tips For Body Care
I've been on a LONG journey with skin coloured bumps on my forehead and cheeks and I have finally cleared them!I tried facials, acids, skincare for acne, gentle skincare, no skincare at all, oil cleansing - everything. But it was only when I gave up trying to fix it and started keeping a food diary instead that I finally figured it out.Coffee gives me persistent forehead bumps, mostly in the centre. Decaf does the same and it doesn't matter if it's black or with oat milk. I give up and my skin clears two days after my last coffee. I have clear skin and then risk having coffee again and then they come back. I keep hoping maybe it's something else but it's definitely coffee. Such a bummer! My cheek bumps (that really look like they are from skincare or makeup) are caused by eating coconut in any form (curry, baking with coconut flour, baking with coconut oil etc). I must have a mild intolerance as it causes bumps in the centre of my cheeks in clusters. Almost where you'd expect blusher or contour to cause an issue. I've trialled this several times and can pinpoint flare-ups to eating it.Just wanted to share in case anyone else is finding that acids/skincare/foreo aren't improving skin texture. Sometimes your skin is reflecting what's happening inside!I really recommend a food diary and try to keep your skincare simple without new products while you work it out.My very simple routine that my combination skin loves:Simple Vital Vitamin Face Wash and flannelAvene Thermal Spring WaterRevolution Beauty Hyaluronic AcidSukin Hydrating Mist
