Beauty Tips For Body Care
I know these posts come up every once in a while. First of all I want to say that this sub can be really great for finding new products and sharing before and after experiences. But as has been said a million times before, a lot of behaviour here is borderline obsessive (if not actually obsessive...). I swear I used to see at least 3 posts a day of someone with what I would consider to be PERFECT skin, asking how to fix their "skin issues". If I were someone who was comfortable posting my face on reddit I feel like I probably would have turned into one of these people. My skin is not perfect, but this sub made me think my tiny breakouts and closed comedones were literally horrible. I would wake up and immediately run to the mirror to view my skin after attacking it the night before with actives.I've definitely seen people here advocating for simple, gentle routines but for me it was hard to follow something like that when my skin was "so bad".Basically I just want to say that if anyone is also coming to the realization that their skin issues are more internal than external, it's okay to just take it easy. r/scacjdiscussion is a great sub, you can get skincare advice over there without seeing any photos.
