Beauty Tips For Body Care
The intention of this post isn't to spread hate but to encourage you to be more careful when buying products and taking advice.Yesterday I was scrolling through Tiktok and saw a video of a woman recommending best products for acne. All products were by brand called ClarityRx. One of those products was Fix it 2% pore perfecting solution. The ingredients of that product are water, alcohol denatured and salicylic acid. The insane part is that this product costs $50. I'm not an expert but i think i have basic skincare knowledge to notice that it's obviously overpriced and bad for skin especially for people who have acne. I commented on her video the same thing i wrote here to what she rudely and aggressively replied that they have good stuff, that alcohol denat is purely made, that i should do more research and made fun of me because every product has water (don't know why she said that because i only copied ingredients list). After that i said that those are some of the cheapest skincare ingredients so the product is way expensive for what it is then she blocked me. Her statements in other videos are also contradictory, for example she says that double cleansing isn't good for your skin because it can clog pores and in other videos she recommends cleansers that are all based not saying you should follow after that with water based cleanser. This woman also claims to be licensed esthetician (i don't know if that's true cause you can claim to be whoever you want on internet), she said that video wasn't sponsored (she was either lying about that or she's just bad at her job) and she is also giving online skincare advice for $30/h and on top of that she's rude.So next time when you see post about skincare online check the ingredients list and also the person recommending it, don't blindly believe everything someone says, be careful who you trust and ALWAYS DO YOUR RESEARCH.
