Beauty Tips For Body Care
TL;DR with questions at the bottom, story mode belowHey! I've never really taken care of my face, but recently I've noticed it's not really in a great condition. I'm looking for some starter info, I've read the wiki and I'm even more confused (especially with English not being my native language). I'm 29 year old male, my face often feels itchy, there's a little bit of redness here and there, few broken vessels, some scars from popping (seriously, I have addiciton with that, trying all I can to stop it but it's sooo tempting, I've been squeezing pores and pimples on my face for years!) and recently more and more wrinkles (especially on forehead and around my mouth - it started to come up very very quickly over last 2 years). My first reaction was to buy some moisturizer and anti-wrinkle cream but all it did was make my face really itchy and red + pimples started to pop up everywhere. I've tried to assess my skin type, my face feels oily when I touch it but on the other hand it's also tight and itchy - could it be the effect of dehydration and I have more of a dry skin?I don't want to start with over-investing in products that could potentially make my face even more miserable, for starters I was thinking about finding some face cleanser (so I don't clean it with soap), moisturizer for night and another one with SPF filter for daytime. I would like to add some BHA / AHA (I'm in the blind right now, I might really don't know what I'm talking about right now so correct me if I'm talking nonsense) later on to help with aging skin, but I'm afraid how my skin is gonna react to this. Here's how my skin looks right now. There's no routine at all except washing it with soap and using some moisturizer from time to time.https://preview.redd.it/ep16kthxp5u51.jpg?width=2016&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2051978c78ee9c5cc9786531658e1d97457c7f60TL;DR:If my skin is itchy, tight and red but oily when touched does it mean this is oily skin or extremely dehydrated dry skin? What routine I can introduce to moisturize it?What products you recommend? I've seen some recommendations for ceraVe and Paula's Choice, but it would be so so helpful for me if you could propose some specific products since I'm lost when I try to find something useful (if that's not again sub rules)What can I add to routine to slow down the wrinkes? What could help against itchy, sensitive skin?
