[acne] [product question] Probiotics for stubborn acne that doesn't respond to anything? **Please read full text**

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Has anyone tried taking probiotics for their acne? I (22F) have been doing extensive research on this and it seems promising, but ultimately I want other opinions (I have an appointment with my dermatologist in January)Background on my skin: -I have had acne since I was about 12 and it has been an ongoing battle. I have tried almost all topical treatments out there as well as 2 full rounds of Accutane (I was about 50-52kg both rounds; 60mg my first round 6 years ago, 70mg second round 5 years ago).-My skin type is very dry and sensitive (always has been, never been oily).-My acne is primarily on my forehead and always has been. Only recently (within the last 2 years) have I started breaking out on my chin (not jaw).-It is not skincare products or hair products, I've tested this. The only other route I haven't taken is hormonal but because my acne doesn't show up in the normal "hormonal" areas (lower face), I've kind of ruled this out.Has anyone had any experience or can back up the possibility that probiotics (administered by my dermatologist of course) could help with my acne?edit: Accutane worked but I ultimately relapsed both times. The first time was about a year after my first round, and my second relapse was about 2.5-3 years after my second round. Haven't been fully clear since then.
