TLDR ON BOTTOMUsing a throwaway account because im a bit embarrassed...So a bit of a backstory, I literally dont know shit about skincare, and I never use any of those fancy products.One day I was with my friends and we were about to eat some food but we were in public and didn't have access to soap and water or any handsanitizer. So what did we do?We used lysol wipes on our hands.My friend always keeps a pack of those mini portable lysol wipes in her bag and takes it where ever she goes. She says that it works better than handsanitizer and that its safe.Soooo fastforward to yesterday, I had some makeup on and my makeup wipes were finished, but I did have some lysol wipes so I thought "What could go wrong? If its safe for the hands, its definitely safe for the face too! And so I used it to wipe off my makeup...but I was a bit scared so I kinda rinsed the wipe a little bit. Like, I kinda washed it.It stung my skin sooo bad and my eyes were getting all watery and were burning. Yes it took off my makeup really good🙃 BUT IT WAS STILL HORRIBLE CUZ I THOUGHT I WAS GONNA BLIND MYSELF!!!So I rinsed my eyes for a very long time and then THANKFULLY the burning stopped. I then washed my face with some dove soap and then applied some cold aloe vera on my red and burning face.Please, do not use lysol wipes on ur face...TLDR: Saw my friend using lysol wipes on her hands, she said it was safe. And so I used it on my face and it burned my eyes and face so much and I thought I was gonna turn blind. After rinsing my eyes for a very long time, my eyes were back to normal. Do not use lysol wipes on your face please.
