[Product Question] How the heck does O'Keefe's Working Hands work?

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Working hands works slightly better than 10% urea cream at eliminating scaly dry skin from my feet, heels and hands. So I assumed it must also have some kind of moisturizer-exfoliatior ingredient. But I just looked up the ingredient list and it doesn't look like there is anything special, and from what I understand none of these ingredients are exfoliators. How is this possible, and what is the active ingredient here?!Ingredients list: Water, Glycerin, Stearic Acid, Sodium Hydroxide, Paraffin, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Allantoin, Octyldodecyl Stearate, Diazolidinyl Urea, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Acrylates/Acrylamide Copolymer, Mineral Oil, Polysorbate 85
