A few GPs had burned it off but it always came back. My current GP sent me to a derm after my BF I insisted I get it checked again (I had just accepted it after multiple removals and ignored it mostly) and after getting the first part cut off for a biopsy it came back cancer (Squamous Cell Carcinoma). My options after where stitches that would be long term tight and uncomfortable (and possibly rip due to a unrelated genetic condition) or a scar. I chose the scar.
