[Routine Help] What is your favorite product for skin brightening?

I'm doing some experimenting with Vitamin C serums but the latest try - Mad Hippie - left my skin feeling sticky and itchy unfortunately. Looking for new recommendations. Doesn't have to be Vitamin C - just looking for something that can help with some stubborn post acne marks and general brightening effect.
