[Acne] Caveman Regimen

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Started the caveman regimen three weeks ago. Im going to post an update every week from now on. I plan on going for as long periods as I can without using anything on my face, including water, except for when dry skin has built up to a point it needs exfoliation by a washcloth. A quick recap on the first few weeks:Week 1: Lots and lots of dry skin, had been using glycolic acid up until giving up all skincare so the exfoliation effects were still there. Had also been using cerave smoothing cleanser which made my skin red as hell. had a few active spots on my chin which is where the majority of my acne lies. So far not washing face at all, although some water gets on my face when in the shower.Week 2: Skin still dry and fragile, feel like my skin is incredibly thin from 9 months of tretinoin which cleared my acne but in the end wasnt worth the flakiness every morning and acne started to come back so switched to glycolic acid which worked for awhile but I wanted no skincare regimen. Acne still active on chin, used a washcloth to exfoliate some of the dead skin in shower off.Week 3: Active acne begun to dry up and come to a head. trying my best not to pop or pick at any active spots but there were one or two I had to just "help" out. have only washed face with water 2 times in last three weeks.
