How does everyone feel about J-Lo’s Skincare line? [misc]

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I personally think celebrities need to stop making these skincare lines when they know nothing about skincare just to make quick buck. It would make more sense to me for a dermatologist to create their own line than a pop singer.J-lo lies about plastic surgery and Botox saying her wrinkle free face is due to using olive oil on her skin. She’s giving people the impression that she uses simple natural products when many surgeons have called her out for getting a face lift as well as Botox. And I’m sure she gets many facials and expensive skin treatments monthly. In many of her photos on her Instagram brand account you can tell there has been some photo manipulation. It’s false advertising.I went on her website jlo beauty to look at the ingredients and the full list is not even there. The ingredients should be the first thing discussed when it comes to skincare, not how pretty the packaging looks. People are already pre ordering without knowing what the full ingredient list is. The price of some of these products also seem a bit high.Yes she still looks good for her age and I personally don’t think 51 is all that old as my mother is 54 and still looks very young. But for her to lie and say she’s had no work done is irritating.I think there is more than enough skincare lines out there for everyone and we don’t need to be adding any more accumulation of products and plastic product packaging into this already plastic filled earth. (Kylie Jenner I’m also looking at you)If a celebrity came out with a completely zero waste line that has all amazing ingredients and no nasty essentials oils and have a passion for skincare then I’ll be impressed. It’s seem many celebs put no actual thought into the products they sell, don’t really have a passion for it and just want to make cash or build a empire of branded products.
