[Misc] Does anyone apply product from the back of their hand to minimize waste?

I recently started squeezing my serums and creams onto the back of my hand and using the back of my fingers and knuckles to gently rub product on my face. Does anyone else do this? Is it okay to do? I feel like I’m wasting so much if I use the tips of my fingers to apply product.
