Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hello,So earlier last month I bought Cerave’s moisturising lotion for dry to very dry skin as I needed to step up my moisture game from the neutrogena hydro boost gel! However in addition to my already hyaluronic acid packed PM and AM routine I was slapping this cream on multiple times a day. For a week and a half now I have had the most inflamed/red irritated skin that gets worse at nighttime or doing anything that causes strain (exercise, walking, even brushing my teeth!). Doctor thinks it’s hives but I’m not itchy just very hot! Anyway, the last week I stripped my routine completely back to moisturiser (Krave Oat so simple because it only has ten ingredients) and at night a layer of epaderm (literally just paraffin, mineral oil and glycerin - feels disgusting but stops the dryness). I have order the La Roche Posay cicaplast Baume B5 to try and combat the redness which isn’t going anywhere fast! Does anyone know how I could possibly help my skin? I’m also taking antihistamines to combat the inflammation but they only do so much....I’m scared to try too many new products in case I have a reaction or my face burns even more ! I’m not sure whether I should just go back to washing with water and then just using moisturiser (oat so simple is moisturising enough if you layer it up I find) . If anyone who has successfully healed their moisture barrier can help /Has had hives on their face I’d be so so grateful for some advice :)Thanks in advance ❤️
