[sun care] Can it be bad to always wear spf?

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I'm feeling like poking into a bees nest by asking this, but I went to a cosmetic studio and the cosmetologist (is this the correct english description?) asked me which products I use to care for my skin. I said, that I use spf every day, even in winter, like the online skin care community praises. She was so surprised! She said that you only have to wear it in summer or on sunny winter days when you are outside a lot. And she said something like "but when you always wear spf, there's nothing that can get through your skin anymore". I think she meant, that some sunlight is actually beneficial for your skin. And I remembered that I heard that too, that sunlight is good against acne and that you will receive vitamin d through it. So, can someone explain me this or is willing to share his or her opinion on this topic? Does spf stop the beneficial effects that sunlight can have on your skin?
