Beauty Tips For Body Care
I'm going through the tretinoin purge right now, and I'm super insecure about it. I like looking at my boyfriend, but I get kinda embarrassed if he looks at my face or touches it because I feel...gross? I know acne doesn't define you or your accomplishments at all, but it's hard not to be self-conscious about it.But he still kisses me on the forehead!! And if I get up to put cream or a hydrocolloid patch on a spot, he's totally understanding and not turned off by the scent or stickiness. He doesn't make any comments or give unsolicited advice, and he knows I'm trying my best and doing all the research I can (thanks to this sub!).He has perfect skin, never had a problem with it in his life, but he's never judged me for my skin problems. It's really encouraging me to be just as kind to myself and to be patient because my skin is also trying its best to heal.I just wanted to enthuse about how lucky I am to have someone like this in my life! And I hope everyone else has or finds someone like him too.
