Beauty Tips For Body Care
sorry for formatting i’m on a phone :pI’ve read through similar threads but I didn’t really gain much. I read that using an alcohol free toner like Thayer’s Witch hazel can be good for my type of skin, I have some of the lavender variation on hand so I spritzed some on my face. We’ll see if it breaks me out or not ugh. I’ve probably spent thousands on skincare and everything breaks me out. If I use nothing, my skin doesn’t break out. I went on Accutane to fix my acne about 6 months ago but I was unable to complete my full course because of COVID and the annoying monthly blood pregnancy test... ughMy routine:Garnier pink cap micellar water on a cotton pad 2x a day that’s itNo acne if I just use thatThere’s a lot more, because acne and skincare has been a concern since I was a teenager... Off the top of my head, here’s a glimpse into all the products I have tried, in the past 6 or so months, all of which left me with CCs or cystic pimples:-Hado Labo plumping gel -Cerave in the tub -Cerave AM -Cerave PM -Neutrogena hydroboost -Simple moisturizer -Oils or anything containing oils (these are the WORST culprits)My skin is so dry. I’m only 20 and I like the effects of using a moisturizer because it gets rid of the fine line I have on my forehead from raising my eyebrows and it makes me look not dead. Idk what to do. Please feel free to ask questions because I’m not sure what information to provide or where to go from here. I’d like for seeing a dermatologist again to be the last resort as covid is getting really bad here, I’ve been working the whole pandemic to keep myself and my business afloat so I have 0 time to see a dermatologist right now.edit: i drink a lot of water :( it’s the only thing i drink besides coffee in the morning, as i don’t like soda or any other beverage besides tea. my acne is triggered by products, not limited to just moisturizer. cleansers, makeup, toner, salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide specifically trigger acne. i don’t have an acne problem at all if i use nothing or just the micellar water. when i use nothing, my skin texture isn’t so nice and i get oily but still dry. the micellar water is a step up from that because it cleanses a lil bit so my skin is smooth and it doesn’t get an oily residue after a long day. so i am not looking to try differin or a retinoid. accutane worked for me fairly quickly and idk if i would even need a second dose, even though i had to stop early. acne isn’t my problem, it’s finding products that can address my concern of fine lines/dry skin that don’t trigger my sensitive skin into producing acne. i can’t even wear a sunscreen on my face unfortunately because i get irritated and acne.
