Beauty Tips For Body Care
Ok so I've been wanting to simplify my routine. I have mostly oily-combination skin and I've been wondering if some of the stuff steps i'm doing aren't necessary for me? For some extra context, I do have acne-prone skin but my breakouts have mostly calmed down. I do seem to have some texture on my forehead sometimes (although it's only noticeable up close and glycolic acid seems to do the trick). I used to get lots of whiteheads on my cheeks but it's gotten way better. Unfortunately, my main problem now is hyperpigmentation. I've been using the same Vit C for about a month and a half and although I've noticed some improvement, in some areas like under my chin I just feel like it's not working (mask acne).Right now my routine isAM:- cleanser: COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser- toner/exfoliant: The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution (but only on my t-zone)- serum: The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (only on my t-zone)- Vitamin C: The Ordinary Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2% (only on the far end of my cheeks where there's scarring, I use it more as a spot treatment for hyperpigmentation)- moisturizer: Cetaphil moisturizer for all skin types- SPF: Etude House Sunprise Mild Airy Finish Sun Milk SPF50+/ PA+++PM:- oil cleanse: the inky list oat cleansing balm- cleanser: COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser- toner/exfoliant: COSRX One Step Original clear Pad- serum: The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (full face this time)- moisturizer: just bought the Cosrx advanced snail 92 all in one cream, so I'll be trying that out, but normally I would just use the cetaphil moisturizerOk so here are my observations. First, I've been using the niacinamide serum for some time now and although it hasn't done anything bad to my skin, I can't helo but feel it's still kind of useless? Or maybe I just don't realize the benefits it's giving me, so i'm considering cutting that out? I'm also considering to stop double cleansing because I don't wear makeup, but this one I'm less sure about. As for moisturizing, I know I just bought one, but a few nights ago I forgot to use my moisturizer and weirdly enough, I did not wake up with an oily t-zone, and I recall that happening quite a few times before. I'm just trying to figure out if I overcomplicated things in my routine. Also, I'm sorry this post seems all over the place. Also in general have any of you oily skinned people noticed steps or products in general that oily skinned people just don't have to do or that you think is useless and can be skipped over?
