Beauty Tips For Body Care
https://imgur.com/a/11zXN0KHi all and happy new year! this community has definitely given me the courage to add new types of products to my routine and just try new products/brands in general by looking at shelfies so thank you! I see a ton of shelfies that include a lot of cerave products and thought I might variegate by providing my shelfie as well :-) BTW I AM NOT ANTI-CERAVE!!! If a product works for you, use it!!! I have tried it and it didn’t really do much for meSkin Type: dry (I feel like I am just one big dry patch) Skin Concerns: redness, hyperpigmentation/sunspots, dry spots Environment: major city w pretty dry conditionsAM Routine: - YTTP kale+green tea spinach vitamins superfood cleanser - 1 pump, min 30 sec wash - CosRX advanced snail 96 mucin power essence - 2 pumps - Purito deep sea pure water cream moisturizer - dime size amount - Purito comfy water sun block (yes despite the betrayal I still gotta use this up lol), w reapplication a few times throughout the dayPM Routine: - YTTP kale+green tea spinach vitamins superfood cleanser - 1 pump, min 30 sec wash - CosRX advanced snail 96 mucin power essence - 2 pumps - Purito deep sea pure water cream moisturizer - dime size amount - AC Care bee venom spot serum - place small amount on red areas, hyperpigmentation spots from healing bumps, etc. been using this product for nearly 10 yearsExfoliating Routine 1x per week: - YTTP kale+green tea spinach vitamins superfood cleanser - 1 pump, min 30 sec wash - Drunk elephant TLC Sukari baby facial lissant - thin layer all over the face - Innisfree pore clearing clay mask 2x w super volcanic clusters - apply layer on T zone, chin, any active break out (I can open my phone w facial recognition w this mud mask on!!) - CosRX advanced snail 96 mucin power essence - 2 pumps - Purito deep sea pure water cream moisturizer- dime size amount - The Ordinary granactive retinoid 2% emulsion - apply quarter size amountSpot Treatments for Active Breakouts: - Mario Badescu drying lotion - Murad salicylic acid spot treatment (use during day time too since it dries clear for me) - CosRX acne patchesI am 26F, East Asian. I didn’t have a full skincare routine until I was about 18. I have used a facial cleanser since I was about 13 but didn’t really use moisturizer until I was about 17 lol (I hated the texture of any lotion and still kind of do!). I have had relatively clear skin mainly due to genetics. I am however quite pale so any active or healing breakouts are very apparent. I am definitely a proponent of having the simplest routine bc a) lazy b) no need to overdo it!My most consistent product is the AC Care bee venom serum that I have been using for 10 years straight. I haven’t seen too many people on here using bee venom (or sorry if I missed it) so I’m here to say it’s a thing! It’s not cheap but it’s a spot treatment so I don’t empty it frequently. Snail serum for me is a new addition bc I am very expressive and need to combat the wrinkles! I do prefer the iUnik one to the CosRX one, although the pump on the latter is much more convenient than the iUnik dropper. I definitely saw an improvement in my skin after using the iUnik one. As one giant dry patch, the Purito deep sea water moisturizer is really hydrating without being grossly thick or oily. As for sun protection, I know we are mad at Purito right now but I still have to use this thing up hahaMy diet does affect my skin- too much salt, any dairy and I will develop at least one large zit lol. I also don’t wear very much make up bc I am lazy. When I do, I go in w Simple micellar cleansing water, Clinique take the day off balm, then start the routine. I basically do a triple cleanse bc I don’t want to start my routine w ANY make up on my face.I try new products frequently from all brands at all price levels. I’d love to hear any recs on treating sunspots (prob just gotta laser them off though tbh), retinoids, snail serums, and, well, anything really! Appreciate y’all :-)
