Beauty Tips For Body Care
About a month ago, I ran out of my CeraVe moisturizer and was interested in the night cream since the ingredients looked really good. It contains ceramides, shea butter, fatty alcohols, silicones, and peptides. I was also planning to start using my adapalene/benzoyl peroxide medication. I knew my skin was going to get red, dry, and flaky, and this cream did just the trick.I have been using this moisturizer daily (I used to use it at night but then I bought a day cream that made my skin too oily so I switched when I used them) and I've noticed a big difference in my skin. Unlike the CeraVe moisturizer, I felt like this really moisturized my irritated skin and sunk in easily. Although the CeraVe moisturizer was pretty good and didn't cause any issues, I often felt like it just sat on top of my skin. I never have this issue with the night cream. My skin feels super soft and it helps a lot with any flaking, dry skin. The only reason why I say this might be my holy grail is because of the small size, high cost, and how my skin feels by the end of the day. This product is only 48g and costs CAD $26 whereas the CeraVe moisturizer costs about the same price for 453g. Fortunately, a little goes a long way and I'm about half way through the jar after a month of use. The other problem is that my skin is naturally oily and I notice sometimes it's extra oily when I use this cream. While this isn't a major issue because I'm usually at home, this can be an issue if I plan on going outdoors or wearing makeup.Overall, I rate this cream a 9/10.
