Beauty Tips For Body Care
Vanicream FREE & CLEAR ShampooAfter a severe reaction on my scalp 14 years ago, whenever my scalp feels irritated and itchy, this is my go to shampoo and conditioner. The website says: “gentle fragrance free shampoo for sensitive skin is also free of formaldehyde and formaldehyde releasers commonly found in ordinary shampoos. Preservative-free. No botanical extracts or essential oils. No harsh cleansing agents. Sulfate-free. Protein-free. Gluten-free. pH balanced.” I’ve always felt better using this and the itchiness eventually goes away and my scalp is calmed. I highly recommend it for a calmer scalp. Their only downfalls have been 1) the shampoo does not foam well, which is to be expected with so many sudsing ingredients omitted and 2) the conditioner left my hair feeling tangly and knotty as well as my hair often felt staticky later after blow drying. But I still had a lot of respect for them and still have bottles in my closet.365 Everyday Value, Fragrance Free Shampoo and ConditionerI decided I needed to find a new fragrance free product, and their website says: “No added fragrance, Parabens, Sodium Lauryl or Laureth Sulfate. Certified Gluten Free.” After just one use of these items together, my scalp feels calmer just like the Vanicream products, but my hair feels so much healthier than when I used to use the Free & Clear products. This shampoo like the other takes more to clean my hair, but it does suds up a bit more than the other. Also, the conditioner felt so, so nice, there were hardly any knots in my hair when I got ready to blow dry. It did not feel waxy like others have reported, but remember that this is just one use. I am having no issues with static either. I also highly recommend these products. I hope this helps someone out there.
